Christmas day was wonderful and it was so nice to have a day to spend with the family and reflect on what we are grateful for and how many blessings we have. We are so lucky to be happy, healthy and have so much love in our lives.
I really tried to emphasize this year to the kids that Santa is NOT what Christmas is about. We talked a lot about giving to others, especially those less fortunate, and the importance of Christ, which is why we have Christmas. There have been many times over the past month that my boys have brought me to tears to hear how giving and caring they are.
Here are some pics of our kiddos on Christmas:

Who knew an orange could be so exciting...
The important stuff... a chest protector for his motorcycle...

WoW, looks like you guys had a good Christmas! It's nice to see that some of us remember to teach our Kids it's not all about Santa!
P.S. Alicia's card made it...LOL!

It is so awesome to see that others are teaching there kids the important part of christmas and most of all giving to others
I try so hard every year to try and tell my kids how important it is to give. Looks like Santa brought some awesome toys and stuff.. Send the kids down to come play on the snowmobiles and tubes they are having so much fun!!
Your guys are sweet!!!
We're glad you guys had a great Christmas! I love all the cute pictures!
Loved all your blogs! I just love your kids so much! They are so sweet. Yes Brock does look huge in that picture! I was giving him a big hug the other day and just wanted to sit and snuggle him but then I realized that he was probably too big to sit on my lap!
Reading your blog makes me feel like we keep in touch and at least know what's going on with each others life!
I'm so jealous you were in Vegas. I miss it SO much. I can't wait to move back.
I never sent out Christmas cards this year, but if I did you sure would've been on the list.
You look beautiful in the pic with Brett and the brown hat! Love that one! Miss ya Shona~
